Pavement ants inactive
My pavement ants aren't foraging for food and only move if I hit their nest with a stick, they live under a decomposing grasshopper. I gave them fruit but they didn't even try to eat it they just left it alone and didn't step out of their nest. I'm worried about them.
Re: Pavement ants inactive
Hmm... how large is the colony? smaller colonies often go into these states of tiredness. This is because once they are fed, they have nothing else to do in life, larger colonies always need food, and that's why they are always busy. I would make sure they have food but they could be prepping for hibernation
