Now I remember for whom I wanted to show that the queen should be able to get out.

Recorded this video recently which shows my queen trying to climb up. Even tho here she doesn't manage to climb up she definetly has managed it in the past already. :)

Just give them some time and as you say they have everything they need. So I guess the workers are just all occipied with the mealworm and caring for the colony. :)
Doing some proper research is the best way to start an antcolony.

Need help or want to help? https://forum.AntsCanada.com/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=18153#p70566

Currently not keeping any ants anymore.

I noticed last few days the plastic pot they are in is starting to get a bit of mold, think due to the fact they have been feeding in it. Also I ahve to move in a few weeks and would like them to move upstsirs where it will be much easier to teransport them safely as there are lose objects in the pot.

So taken all there food and water out and jsut made sure there is a nice fresh testube of water, suger and protin so when they feel like moving they have a nice spread layed out for them.

Hopfully they will do so in the next few days, also leaving the bottom (with the pot in it) a little open so not quite as dark so might encourage them to move out.

Give them a few days and see how they go.
