I cant seem to get my fire ants to leave their dirt jar in favor of the new solenopsis hybrid nest 2.0. Tried light, heat mat, and lemon juice. any ideas?
Aspiring ant-keeper

I keep:
Lasius. Niger:3 queens, 50 workers
 Solenopsis. Geminata: 1 queen, 1-2K workers, 1-200 majors (including super major, sub major, etc)
Still need a name for my colonies, queen fire ant is dubbed "Karen"

Just be patient and don't water the jar, and make sure the Hybrid Nest is warm and moist.

Ok, thx. I watered the hybrid nest, and added a water tube to it. ima add an outwolrd as well and put honey in it so they know there's food in there.
