Pheidole Vigilian Queen ant

I got my first queen ant a Pheidole Vigilian about a week and a half ago but it still hasn't laid eggs. I have it slightly on a heating mat, gave it a small amount of food when i got it but nothing after also there is a small white cloth covering it, it has water in its test tube st up also. So if someone could please tell me why it hasn't laid eggs yet that would be greatly appreciated .

Could be infertile, or used it’s food stores too much in nuptial flight and now is laying and eating eggs
