What besides a heating cable can i use to make a colony move into the formicarium. I have some ideas, hot glue gun, little shake hand heater, and warm water in a plastic bag. :D (My B. Depilis are being stubborn)Thanks!

Let them move in on their own. :)

I have found with my larger ants, careful use of a hairdryer on low works really well.

As long as they have close access to a clean tube, they will move when they are uncomfortable in their current environment.

um, two feet is quite a lot for a young colony. personally, I like to make them have to only travel at the most six inches.
