Things were getting out of control and I gave them a new bigger outworked and things are better but, I'm thinking it's time to expand the in world. Is it better to connect a second out world the same size and have 2 or is it better to get a bigger out world? Plus winter us coming and I noticed finally brood count is down a bit.

By in world you mean their nest I assume? I would attach a 2nd large formicarium if you're worries about space in the nest. I don't think there a quality difference between 2 smaller outworlds or 1 large one, except for the fact they might get to travel a bit more.
