Why are all workers dying

I have 4 camponotus queens . They all HAD between 4-8 workers until they all started dying ! When the first 1-2 workers arrived I gave to all a drop of honey after ( when more workers arrived ) I gave to all test tubs 1 cricket leg they all ate it . After a week some workers started dying until all workers were dead !
Can someone explain to me what is happening?!?

Hello Minniethedoggo, There could be a few reason your ants are dying. 1, the honey might have had some kind of chemical or something that the ants don't usually have. 2 If you went a whole other week without feeding them they might have died of hunger. 3 from the pic. it looks like your cotton balls might have mold or might have some kind of scent or chemical in them. It is always unclear what caused this without actually seeing it.

Well, it does depend on how many workers there are. But I would say something at least every week at the beginning. Also, there isn't that much meat on a cricket leg. Just saying.
