When should I hibernate my ants?

So I can't seem to figure out when to hibernate my ants, I intend to put them in the fridge when I do so, so the temperature stays consistent and safe. I read somewhere the larva stop growing when they're getting ready for hibernation? I think this has happened with one of my colonies, but it's still really hot out, and may be hot out for awhile longer.
I have Camponotus Modoc and Tetramorium Caespitum. When should I start and stop keeping them in the fridge?
Camponotus Modoc Queens:
Gold: Four workers
Bronze: It's complicated
Silver: Gone :,<

Tetramorium Caespitum Queens:
Rose: 5-6 workers
Iris: Likely not fertile
Wings: Almost certainly not fertile
Stubby: Gone :,<
