Well I decided to remove all single queen test tube set ups and give their brood to my star Tetramorium colony. It has 19 nanatics and thanks to all the brood boosting well over 150 brood.
I have cut down to 7 queen set-ups including the one mentioned. The other 6 are 2 queen set ups and all have at least 3 nanatics now. They seem to be doing well and the queens have not begun to fight.
My hope is that one of these colonies ends up polygnous although its a very small chance. I typically like multi queen ant species lol
