Yeah I know right!! Don't worry about the Brood pile logistics because my other queen is the same way, eggs all over the place.

I just gave my ants a few drops of sugar water. One ant came, drank from it and took it back to the colony. And then from out of nowhere there are 5 ants drinking!

December is coming and its almost winter, so good luck on everyone hibernating your ants., ❄️🐜 and i hope everyone of you will have luck on catching new queen ants in spring :)
Thank you. I hope your ants do well over the winter also!
Thanks but here in Malaysia, there were no seasons like in the US or Canada though... And the rainy season in some parts of the tropics are ending and in some parts its starting. Also, my Odontoponera transversa queen has a pupa now i hope she workers soon.

Hey at least that increases the chance of your ants surviving over the year!

Probably not for me :( cause i went to me grandparents house and i am staying there for about a week there and i did not bring any of my ants except my O transversa queen which needs regular feeding, how long will my colonies live without food? I don't want to come back and find everything dead in the setups :(

so long as they have water they can live weeks without food
1x Lasius Niger - early forging stage - 60-100 workers
1x Messor Barbarus - founding stage - <20 workers
1x Camponotus Turkestanus - claustral stage - 1 nanitic + brood
1x Odontoponera Transversa - semi-claustral stage - no eggs

Can someone please help me ID the species I posted some days ago? I want to sell them in the GAN project but I need the species.

Can anyone help me ID this ant species. I caught her mid to late august. I think she is some kind dorymyrmex native to Arizona.

This is the worker. Hopefully, this is a clear enough picture.

This is the queen to that worker. She is about 1 and a half centimeters.

Thank you in advance!
Did it work?

No, because it looks like you just quoted the original broken images. :(

From what I can tell you're trying to put the pictures in from your outlook email? I think you need to save them to a folder and then put them in... not 100% sure. What I did for my lonely picture is take the picture on my phone, pinged it to my fiancee, then from there either copy/pasted the picture or probably saved it and went from there.
Ant-keeping newbie! Currently keeping one Crematogaster Laeviscula Queen (Helena, with seven workers, and lots of increasing brood amounts!). :D
