I'm not sure, I guess I can sell one colony of them away to someone on the GAN project and keep the other one by the way all my Camponotus queens has nanitics nowArizonanAnts wrote: ↑Fri Nov 01, 2019 10:58 amAre you going to keep all of these colonies in your house or are you going to join the GAN Project?

Re: Welcome to the Camponotus Crew!
So after trying just honey a couple times for Helena and her single worker, with no interest, I noticed today that the little one was running around and around like she was searching. So this time I mixed up some honey water, and put it on foil just inside their tube so she didn't have to venture out into the scary portal area.
After some posturing at this new 'threat', she eventually learned that licking the foil was good... and got excited about it, running vertical spirals along the tube. Once she got a few good tastes, she went and told mama. Even Helena came over and checked out the foil, stuck her antennae into the water and deemed it "good".
Since then, little Joy has been solely focused on slowly eating up all the food and taking breaks to feed mama too. It was so cool to watch! I'm glad they finally got into eating -something-. Now, hopefully I can get them some protein they'll eat...

Sol was infertile so I released her to become food for another critter outside. Serena died for some reason, never laid eggs either. :/ArizonanAnts wrote: ↑Mon Nov 04, 2019 9:00 amHey Kherafox!

My ants are now getting a little big for my test tube, what nest should I get? Also, does it HAVE to be the Camponotus type?
