Kinda second guessing what species I have.they were coming from a hole the ground,so they prefer to live underground.It will hard to get a pic of her in the foricarium.Hate to disturb her.Her color is a dark red all over,and the workers looked all the same size when they were moving.

try some honey if u havent already. My Camponotus colony wouldn't eat termites at 1st, they do love crickets and millworms. I love this colony.

Thanks,I tried honey and they ate some.I will try some apple today and see if they like it.This queen is a egg laying machine.

I checked in on them this morning,two of the larva are now new ants,they were walking around this morning.So this species doesn't form a case around the larva.

I have five more nanitics today,and the queen has laid a lot of eggs.There is three big clumps of eggs.Still trying to figure out the species.All the ants are the same size,the head and gastor are almost black with the thorax a dark red.The legs are alittle lighter red.The queen is a dark all over.
