When will they eclose?!

My Camponotus chromaiodes queen has two cocoons that have had a dark ant shape in them for days, and for days I've thought they were about to eclose. They haven't. When should they eclose? Are they dead?

On an unrelated note, my Camponotus pennsylvanicus queen has its first nanitic now. I plan on keeping the C. chromaiodes colony (I like the pretty red coloration), but if they die or otherwise don't eclose, I'll be keeping the C. pennsylvanicus instead.

I have a Camponotus sp and it took 2 months from egg to ant. Caught her March 26 2016, didnt see any workers untill end of May take 1st of June. And like Miky said in his video, my queen lays eggs in batches. She has been laying around 6 eggs, she takes a couple days off and lays some more. She now has over 20 eggs & larva and 13 workers with one of them being a Major. She is so cool.

No, and it's been about two weeks since they've been black like that. :(
