moving ants into ant tower formicarium

I have a small colony of winter ants that I am trying to move into a very small formicarium. I tried to attach a LED light but I think it is too dim. right now there in a very dark room with the dim LED light. it has been two days and four trips have been taken. but now they are bored of the news, and now they are sitting around next to the brood doing trophallaxis occasionally from the sugar-honey water I gave them previously.
what should I do?

How big is the colony? They may not wish to move in to a larger space just yet.
