Hi guys,
Im new to ant keeping this is my first colony, I habbe 2 queens and 25 workers. They are in a nest with a outworld attached. See the photo, I have had them about a week but they bearly move it it usual for ants not to move much and just sit in the nest. They are eating i have put in a dead cricket and they have pulled the legs off but everytime I look at them they are all huddled in the nest. Humidity is 60% temp around 19 degrees.

19 degrees Celsius? That's too low, the ants are probably not that active due to the cold temperature, I'd say raise it up somehow, I use a heating cable that does fine and my queen is very active (E.g. she runs across the test tube quite quickly when I check on her, but that could also just be part of her being semi-claustral).
Such small creatures they are... yet so organised!
