Hi. So I just got a Pheidologeton sp. (now called carebara) queen yesterday morning and when she was in my normal test tube setup, she stayed near the water source but then later that night, she was cotton pulling. Do you guys have any suggestions on what kind of setup will be most applicable for her? I know what these species can get pretty moody and I don't want her to not lay any eggs. I so look forward to her colony but that wont happen if she's not comfortable enough to lay her eggs. Please help. I'm really excited to have caught her. :D

Hi fatkidinside7, from my personal experience, they do this to create little chambers on which they lay their eggs and raise their brood.
