Is propolis powder good for an ant barrier?

I have recently moved my ants from a test tube setup and I need to put an ant barrier. I have some propolis powder that contains Talcum, magnesium carbonate, zinc oxide, propolis extract and paraffinum liquidum. Is it harmful to them? Should I mix it with some rubbing alcohol?

Propolis powder is probably not bad for your ants, though it may not work well as a barrier. Is the powder sticky? I know that normal propolis is sticky, so if this is you shouldn't use it. Should you mix it with rubbing alcohol? Probably not. Just apply it with a dry *** SPAM ***, and you should be fine.
First year and already enjoying it!
