Um help?
So I got a new AntsCanada ant tower and it came with sand, I assumed it was digging medium but I’m not sure anymore if that was a good idea, can ants dig in sand or was that a bad idea?

Re: Um help?
I'm not exactly an ant keeping expert, but from the little I know, it should be fine just keep it moist.

They love to dig. When you put the sand in make sure you pack it down (reduces the change of collapse). Get it wet, then pack it again. Depending on how the tower moisturizes, you may need to water the sand once in a while as well.
