Queen not drinking water.

I purchased a queen and when the guy gave her to me she already has a bunch of eggs but she was out of water in the tube he gave to me. When I got home like a week and a half ago I taped a 2nd tube to the first one, but there are no signs shes drank at all from it. I tried to point a lamp over the first one and also putting a heat source under the old tube but she wouldn't move.

I dont think she wants to move yet. If she has water in the other test tube she is fine and will drink from it when she needs. And You might not notice it because the water Inside a testube setup will last a long time. And remeber she is the ant she knows when she needs to move not you if shes not ready yet because she wants to grow the colony first let her do that.
