Can Crematogaster Scutellaris handle 8 degrees c?

Yes, it's 8 degrees Celsius in my garage.can they survive? Going from 15 to 8 degrees. That's a shock?

Usually it's OK but there are some risks, because in the wild on cold weather they can adapt their nest, while in captivity, they may not have satisfactory options to protect themselves against cold (particularly if they have a huge empty nest with no small room or "corner" to gather to) and anyway, you don't need to have such cold to have the ants diapause. So I wouldn't worry, but I would try to find a less cold room or otherwise I would give the girls some little space to hide into and everything's gonna be alright, or just have them in a warm room*.
* because it's not required to have crematogaster scutellaris diapause.
