Camponotus barbaricus problems

Ello!

I've gotten my Camponotus barbaricus two days ago. There was a Queen and 3 workers, but one worker looks like she has broken spine she is not moving, currently she is probably dead. I thought it might be due to the transportation. I've had other two healthy workers. But today morning I saw second worker also looked like she has spine problems. She was lying on her back and trying to get back on her feet, but finaly it turend out she also has spine problems. WTF is goin on? Could she did something to herself? Maybe this is some kind of illness? Or maybe she simply was old? I've known Camponotus colony is growing slowly, but I didn't know it is always at the edge of colony failure. If that Queen loses the last worker, then this colony is dead, wright?

They have large larvae. If they will not eat them and if the last robo will survive long enought then maybe she will have 7 new workers (there are 7 larvae). But if the last worker will die before that happens... I regret I've ever bought those ants. They are to difficult for me.

Were they shipped in the mail? Getting banged around a lot can kill the workers. I’ve had that happen where I recieved a small colony and the next day 3 out of the 4 workers died. Than the next day I accidentally squished the last worker. 2 months later she finally has a new worker born.

If it’s a new colony than there is no way the workers died due to old age. Another thing it could be is, did the colony get really hot? Left in the sun or something like that. Because what your describing could be heat related.

Anyway the queen can survive without workers. You just need to feed her.
Keeping:
Tetramorium immigrans * Lasius Neoniger * Lasius Claviger * Messor Aciculatus * Myrmica Rubra * Camponotus Novaeboracensis * Camponotus Turkastanus * Pheidole Pallidula

It's rather cold outside now, and it can be due more to the cold than heat I gues. One worker was already in agony when they've arrived, and the other one died next day. It can be also temperature shock, cause it's warm at the house. They have about 25 degrees (Celsius).

It looks like the last one stays alive. And they eat normally. When I've given them half of the cricket, even the Queen moved her ass to the food an ate a lot. So I have the Queen, 1 worker an 7 larvae. One or two larvae are bigger than others. I think in the month time I will have one or two workers more. I hope there will be no more problems.

Here is the video. I hope smeone from this forums can tell me something more about the state of my larvae, I can't tell how long it might take for them to become a pupae. You can also see the dead an dying worker. I need to take them out, but there is only one worker so I'm not giving them out world, even tiny one. I will wait untill the last worker gets her sisters closer to the entrance.
