Hibernating and feeding Issues.

Hello everyone!

I'm having some issues. I have a black carpenter ant colony about 60 workers in like 4-6 months (should have marked when I collected the queen ) They wont accept the same food twice in a row and I'm running out of options . Also I'm wondering if I should hibernate them. I live in tx, I dont know if that counts as "tropical" or not. They are in my room and it stays warm as I have a lot of reptiles (their heat lamps warm the room). If I do need to hibernate them would the garage be a good place for them?

I feed:
Superworms
Crickets
Wild Caught:
Grubs
Rarley Army worms
Moths in the summer
Roaches
They won't eat earthworms.

I also give organic honey. Should I hibernate them?
They will eat they just dont if its something they've recently had. I wont always be able to get grubs moths and roaches Plus I'm kinda against wild caught cause of pesticides. Especially with Moths and roaches that visit other houses
(The roaches I get are small about 2 in. And fly)

I would personally hibernate them as when they come out they'll probably except the food as well as it'll give the queen a rest allowing her to prepare for another year of laying.
