Ive had 5 queens for about 3-4 months now they started laying eggs about 2 months ago. Im worried about if they need food. I keep giving them a little bit of honey water but one of my better queens hasn't fattened up like the rest. Should I be worried?

Also does anyone know how long the egg to worker cycle is for these ants? heard it was dreadfully long.

Heres some pics.

Are they semi-claustral(queens that hunt and forage for food in the founding months)if not there is not need to feed them. They will use the energy stored in there wing muscles for energy. Most people never give their queens food until workers(unless they are semi-claustral or course) I am not sure about the egg hatch time though :D

I don't think they are, but it has been so long. Just paranoid I guess :P
