Hi! I moved my ants into another test tube maybe 2 weeks later. My ants are collected the eggs the middle of the test tube... I fed they with a piece of cricket. They put the cricket to the watering cotton... i don't know how to get out the cricket... i fed they 6 day later... How can i get out the cricket with high escape level?
Sorry for my bad english...

Re: The food and the test tube
The best way I can think to do it would be to put the test tube in a larger tub / container with a barrier on the top to keep them inside. This allows you to unplug the cotton and the ants can run around without fear of losing them. Carefully lift the cricket above the ants inside the tube and remove it. Use cotton balls to gently pick up any escape ants and put them back in the tube or just relax and wait till they come back on their own. The cotton & straw method works well.

Does your wife or mother not have some? Sorry I don’t know your age lol. My wife has like 12 pairs of tweezers laying around I just have to snatch one up when I need to use it

Re: The food and the test tube
Eventually, your ants will discard of it and move it to the front of the test tube.
An ants' strength can be rivaled by few animals compared to relative body size.
