Do I need to put my ants in the fridge this winter
I’m in south FL and it stays pretty hot here year round so do I need to put my new colony of camponotus floridanus in the fridge for any amount of time?

This actually is a very good question. I would do it for at least a month or two with lower temperatures but I don't think your campanodus will like it that cold. :/
Perhaps you should ask a local gan farmer for some tips.

Doing some proper research is the best way to start an antcolony.
