some of the workers have surrounded the queens and seem to be not letting her move but not harming them.
I know if they wanted to kill them they'd be dead. the many maggots and flies I add prove that. so just wondering if anyone knows if this is good or bad? I'm gonna leave them overnight and hope for the best
also, I am wondering what to do with hibernating them. will they be okay if I just leave them?
my colony is about 200 strong and has 1 queen originally but hopefully 3 soon

If you mean surrounding her as in surrounding her and biting and holding her legs and antenies then they are attacking her. If you don’t hibernate them they will barely produce during the winter and this will also probably shorten their overall lifespan.
