polygynous ants?

hey guys, can you please let me know if the following ants are polygynous or not?
Formica Subsericea and Myrmica.

keeper of 4 formica subsericea :D
and 4 myrmica!
and a formica social paricite!

Formica is not while Myrmica can be.

Polygyny is not as consistent as some people think. There are some species which are regularly polygynous, but many others will only be polygynous if they have the genes for it. Polygyny is advantageous when there are lots of members of the same species nearby (getting a few more workers faster helps them compete) while monogyny is advantageous with less competition from the same species (the queen doesn't have to share resources with unrelated queens in the nest).
