My ants seem vary unactive my queen has about 5 works and her test tube is getting dirty so trying the light method to move her from one to another and they seem vary inactive , any idea to why this maybe ?

They don't need to be active. As long as they have access to food in an outworld (not the tube itself) using the drinking straw method, they should be alright. If you think the tube is really dirty, you can move them, but likely you have time.
