There probably waiting for their first workers to emerge and then they'll either start laying again or go into hibernation.
Ant-keeper going into his 4th year of loving ants!

My queen did this, she laid 11 eggs, all of them hatched. She ate most of them thanks to my roommate... She hasn't laid anything since, idk why this is but I believe she will begin laying again once the pupae hatch.
I keep feeling like I should say 'Wake Up' instead of 'Hatch'.
