oligogyne sp.

I was looking into some campanotus sp that im interested in and i saw this:

Campanotus herculeanus and Ligniperdus colony form----Monogyne rarely oligogyne

Can someone explain what is oligogyne pls

can I get a link reference? oligogyne is a plant... perhaps autocorrect mistook it?

Yeah from the spelling mistakes and it being under colony form I think they just miss spelled polygynous.

Which is multiple queens per colony. Though I have only heard of a few wild examples of that happening it's always deadly in a home setup.

Oligogene: a gene that produces or significantly affects the expression of a qualitative heritable characteristic, acting either alone or with a few other genes (from https://www.merriam-webster.com/medical/oligogene) 8-) . Which basically is basically a gene that determines a phenotypic trait (such as size or behavior).
An ants' strength can be rivaled by few animals compared to relative body size.
