Hello
I am just looking for suggestions on how to keep my ants cool since on a hot day my room can get to 40°C/104°F. Would love to know what others do.

Keep nest more moist.Ants dont actuallu need cold.

eh---- 104 is very hot.... condensation would be an issue... and deaths...is there a cooler spot in your house?

I might be able to move them in the summer and hopefully it wont disturb them. I am just wondering how do i wet the hybrid nest do i put cotton under it and wet it and it will seep through the holes?

Yup! You fill it with cotton to the point that is is in contact with the mesh, and then you fill the hydration basin with water. The first time you may have to do this twice.
