Hello.. with help from you guys 1 of my 2 queens i found this summer was identified as a Lasius parasite species. im a newcomer to ant keeping and am asking do you think i should attempt a host colony introduction to get her started producing eggs. Or as a novice let her free . I dont want to harm her for no reason ..but i dont want to get rid of the only other queen ive managed to find this year. I look almost every day with no luck. What do the more experianced members think..?

Put her in the fridge and introduce sole workers to her, and if the queen doesn't kill the workers, she should start laying eggs. This way you don't have to sacrifice anything.
"God made every kind of wild beasts and every kind of livestock and every kind of creeping things;" (including ants) "and God saw that it was good." Genesis 1:25
