Baby Powder Rubbing Alcohol Ratio?

I have been watching the AntsCanada videos for awhile now and am wondering what is the ratio of baby powder and rubbing alcohol used in the barrier to keep ants in their out-worlds? Thanks for your help.

I've never been too exact about it. The alcohol is only there to paint the talcum onto the edges of the outworld. How much or how little only modifies how runny the slather is -- you don't want so much that the talcum runs down to the floor, but you don't want so little that the talcum becomes a thick paste (too much, and talcum is going to crumble off whenever you bump or move the setup).

Just basically experiment with it. My first time I mixed it with not enough alcohol and like was said above, it crumbled off. In the end I purchased Fluon which is well worth the price. I paid $35 for it on Amazon and although they are small bottles, it will last at least a year for me if not longer. I recommend it very much myself.

I realize my first post was a little confusing; too much isopopanol and the slurry will be too runny. Too little isopropanol and you'll get a thick paste that will crumble off.
