Hi! Can I still keep a queen ant if her colony has died but she is still alive? Or is it still stressful?

If you can get her to eat and she's still laying, you might be able to salvage things. 'Might' being the operative word. Ants are social insects and feed each other with their social stomachs. Without other ants to feed her, the queen can still eat, but it's not the same. She won't do as well without the help of her workers, and there have been experiments done to see what happens to a lone ant without a colony. They eat the food that's provided, but they're very stressed out and tend to die very quickly. Be prepared for this outcome.
