were i live we have had a col spill i was wondering if there is a certain temperature that queens wont fly or mate at if so can you tell me its been in the 50's and 60's also if anyone knows does it differ between certain species of ants and if so which.

Not a lot of species fly in that range. Odontomachus queens will forage over winter, so you could catch one of them. Also, I do believe winter ants fly somewhere around there. Common species fly 70 F+ with humidities of 70+
