What time do ants hibernate?

I'm just wondering when ants hibernate, it's getting colder and colder and I haven't seen my ants in a while. I live in Colorado, it is mid-October, and it just snowed recently.

It is time to hibernate when you don't see any wild ants on the surface.
"God made every kind of wild beasts and every kind of livestock and every kind of creeping things;" (including ants) "and God saw that it was good." Genesis 1:25
