Hi,

I'm worried this queen is too dry because she's so slow looking. Do you think she's dying?

She looks fine. She doesn't have a need to move around a lot, so why would she? she wants to save energy.
Proverbs 6:6-8

Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.

Thanks. That cotton ball is so tightly packed I was worried it wasn't letting any moisture in.

if you press the cotton toward the water, water should run/seap thru it, but watch out it is easy to flood the hole founding chamber :roll:
that happend to me.
