Provide different types of food outside of their tube. If they are hungry, they will eat it. If they aren't hungry, they won't. Provide a liquidy sugar food source, (sugar water, honey, jam, ect) and protein, preferably pre killed insects (crickets, mealworms, fruitflies). When in doubt, provide them with more food than less food. (you can't overfeed ants) Make sure you are feeding them in their outworld, not in their tube.
Don't worry about humidity. They should be fine in a test tube.Are you planning on moving them out of the tube? They are not ready to go into a nest until they have 20--50 workers. When they are ready you might consider the Tetramorium Hybrid Nest. AntsCanada's kept his colony of Black crazy ants in this nest, so it should work fine. Humidity is 30-50%. The lasius nest may also work( humidity 40-60%)
Also, they will be most comfortable if you do not have the whole end of the test tube exposed to air so they can go into the outworld. Get a 1 inch piece of drinking straw and wedge it between the side of the tube and the exit cotton. This creates a cozy tunnel for them to go in and out of.

Proverbs 6:6-8
Go to the ant, you sluggard;
consider its ways and be wise!
It has no commander,
no overseer or ruler,
yet it stores its provisions in summer
and gathers its food at harvest.

Ok... all my advice remains the same then. The care for them should be the same. Is there something I'm not understanding?

Black crazy ants generally don't dig and live in cracks and crevices. So a captive setup isn't that much different from a wild one. (for this species, anyway.)
