Problem with my Hybrid Nest

I have a pogonomyrmex hybrid nest I've been using for 5 months with my messor barbarus colony that is around 60 or 70 members now.
Well today I opened the nest to see the colony and I realised that they have made a hole in the mesh of the hydration system and the queen and some of the ants are now nesting below the nest where the hydration system is.
I can't understand how is this happing in a nest that is practically new and that is supposed to be perfect for messor as you say in the web. It was really expensive and i wasn't expecting this... im really disappointed.
I thought about trying to fix it somehow but... if I take the hydration system out the ants will go all over my place and the queen is in there maybe with eggs and i don't want to hurt her.
I really expect you to do something about this. I don't know what to do.
*I've tried to attach a picture of the hole but it won't let me.
