New Ant Keeper, But What Ants?
I am Planning to become a new ant keeper but I don't know what ants to start with for where I am. I am from Canada, but what ant's and when the Nuptial Flight is, I have no clue. After all, I am an Ant Keeping Noob. What ants do you think would be best, so I can Start putting this thing together? I know for sure that I wish to have a kind of Hybrid Nest, an outworld with a Field & Forest Biome, or a Desert Biome. The Book & the Ant Trail T-Shirt too would be cool. Similar to the setup shown in the "My Ants Died - A Huge Mix-up" Video, what do you think, anyone?

Using the Chart, what would a good setup for the ant species of Brachymyrmex Depilis Or Acromyrmex Versicolor? As in what biome Kit, or hybrid Nest. Also, what is easier to keep, as in a good species for beginners.

Re: New Ant Keeper, But What Ants?
I just learned about the "Queen Ants For Sale" page, and the ants that are nearby are the Formica Fusca Species, although I was wondering if it is ok to use the "NEW! ‘All You Need’ Lasius Hybrid 2.0 Gear Pack™" Set/Pack or the "NEW! ‘All You Need’ Tetramorium Hybrid 2.0 Gear Pack™" Set/Pack. Which is better to use though?
Re: New Ant Keeper, But What Ants?
i would say to go with the Lasius Hybrid 2.0 Gear Pack™" Set/Pack because it is meant for Formica

What biome kit should I Use for the outworld? For the Formica Fusca species?
Re: New Ant Keeper, But What Ants?
i would recommend the Field & Forest Biome Kit™ because it is appropriate for Formica fusca.

Ok, one last question would it be acceptable or cruel to keep the ants in a Small Tower connected to an Out-World?
Re: New Ant Keeper, But What Ants?
you would first have to put the queen in a test tube setup(if it doesn't have workers),but if they already have workers and you feel they are big enough you can put them into the ant tower. If feel they are already to big then i would put them in a bigger container.

Also, in the Field & Forest Biome Kit™ it says that it contains "Solidifying Ground Mix". What is that?
