Hi guys and girls I'm preparing my ants out world probably a bit to early but I'm having fun. I have a question about things I can use to stop my little workers climbing over the edge money is tight so insectaslip is a no go. Is it possible to use olive oil? In the same way as vasaleane?

A mixture of alcohol and talcum power applied like you would insect a slip will work also. I doesn't do as well but it works. You can further do that and also use a band of Vaseline too.

You could use baby powder mixed with rubbing alcohol. That seems to work. :)
