Want help on first ant farm

Hi! I want to make an ant farm but have no idea how to. Can anyone help me?

Hiya, I’ve found lots of resources a for this on either Pinterest or YouTube. There are mason jar ideas, with substrate for them to dig against the glass. There is a smaller jar inside taking yo space, causing them to dig near the glass.

Or you could go with tubs & tubes. These are very simple, you use the test tube set up placed in a tub or larger outworld. If they need more nesting space, add more test tubes with water and replaced as they dry out or mould. There are quite a few formicarium tutorials online

If you are talking about how to start a colony in general, I suggest going to AntsCanada's old tutorial videos and watching them all. The new ones are not as informative, so definitely go back to the tutorials.
