I brought a Pheidole queen online. It arrived with only about 4 tiny eggs. Is that normal because I see these YouTube videos with founding Pheidole queens that have like 25 eggs.
Ps my caponotus queen’s larva is developing well

She might have eaten some during shipping, but I'm sure she'll be fine.Dghergejg456 wrote: ↑Tue May 30, 2023 3:18 amI brought a Pheidole queen online. It arrived with only about 4 tiny eggs. Is that normal because I see these YouTube videos with founding Pheidole queens that have like 25 eggs.

Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that aren't in your area.
