My Queen ants test tube is very mouldy now. I connected a clean test tube to the old one, but the Queen is not moving. Is it because there are no workers yet?

What species is she?
Why keep ants that aren't found in your yard?
There are so many fascinating ants right where you live!
I disagree with the keeping/buying of ants that aren't in your area.

Alright, light does not work with Camponotus. I think the best course of action would be to turn the test tubes so that they are in a vertical position (with the old one above the new one), then tap the old one until the queen and all the brood falls in. If you can't get the brood out, you could try using a paint brush to move it.

Just heat the new tube and save the stress for later
