Queen ant behavior

So im new to ant keeping and one of my queen ants continues to pull at the cotton in her test tube. It's not the cotton at the top of the tube, but the cotton hold back the water. Im not sure if this behavior is a good or bad sign and what I should do about it if anything at all.

Its complitely normal behavior notting to worry about.
My current colonies:
-Miniature Military(formica neogagates)
-Black Hearts(crematogaster cerasi)
In search of new camponotus colony
