Brude development haltered for months

Hello!

I am a new antkeeper and I have a queen of the Lasius family but not sure which species. I check on the queen every week or so and she has had a batch of eggs for about more than 2 months now. The eggs don't seem to grow and they are all clustered together in the same position every time I check on them. I also have a Camponotus fallax queen but her eggs are quickly developing into larvae but I have had her for about a month now. Any reason why the brude isn't developing? Please help me.

She might be eating her eggs, try giving her a drop of honey/sugar water and see if that helps.

Ok, thank you for your help! Should I give her some protein too?

If your queen is still eating her eggs for the next few weeks then give her protein.
