Hi there! I was wondering if there was anyone out there who started with honeypot ants! And if so were they easy? Are they good for beginners? What were some of the troubles you had starting your ant colony?
Looking forward to some responses! Thank you!

I've never kept them, but I think they're good for beginners. They're bigger so they're more stable, and they're repletes are extremely effective at storing food, so you don't have to worry too much about food nor hibernation. Although because they are a bigger species, developing stage will take longer, aka the most vulnerable stage. Two last things are that they aren't great at escaping and stay under control, due to their slow development.
