will purchased worker ants accepts a new queen?

Just curious here, but over a year ago I saw an uncle milton ant farm. Which is what got me interested in doing an ant colony because I had one when I was a kid. So, then after doing lots of research, I came across AntsCanada and other great sites. Well, the ant farm comes with a free order of 30 non-breeding red harvester worker ants. I currently have a black carpenter queen ant busily laying eggs!!! Yes!! I had heard, way back in the day, that if you ordered drones, and dug up a queen, they would all get along.
Is this in fact the case???
Thanks!
Roby

Does types of ant farms are not very good for ants and no you can't get a drone and a queen together like that it will not work.
My current colonies:
-Miniature Military(formica neogagates)
-Black Hearts(crematogaster cerasi)
In search of new camponotus colony
[Have a look at antmaps.org]
