Glass Vs Acrylic

Hi all, I was wondering if, with ants, there is a difference in enclosure type. I have raised reptiles, fish, and a few amphibians. I had nothing but Glass tanks before, and just thought to ask and see what some opinions are on the subject. I do know that Acrylic is more insulating. Again, I would like any and all opinions on this. Thank you all!

I think glass will work, it is hard for most ants to climb up, and although there's less insulation, the ants can work around and so can you. You can help by raising the temperature, besides, ants have evolved extremely well, they can likely deal with cold weather, and your house likely has a warmer temp.
