Dracula ants
Hi everyone I do not know if this is the correct forum post, but I hope it is. I'm from California and I am interested, in obtaining a colony of Dracula ants. I've never done any type of ant keeping before, so I'm hoping to get some knowledge and information. Thanks in advance! They are the only species I'm actually interested in, besides maybe honey-pot ants. Either way any information would be extremely helpful. Thanks alot!

Re: Dracula ants
You should try to keep local ants first
Dracula ants are very hard to keep
Also non native ants are not going to do well unless they are invasive
But keeping invasive species is very dangerous and problematic to the environment
There should be some cool ants in California.
Hope that you decide to keep local ants
